This guiding phrase, Keep Looking Up, reminds me to always focus on the next step as well as the ultimate destination. Both on the trail and in my personal journey, I find myself always looking up in faith, knowing that progress is made one careful, determined step at a time—and that every uphill challenge is shaping the goals and challenges I meet each day. And it’s this very point that led me to write 22 Things, specifically aimed at those in the early stages of their careers who, through this book, now have a guide in starting their own journey and hopefully preventing some missteps along the way.
